# An out-of-the-box directory of AI tools

Build a directory website for AI tools.

Make up the tools yourself: names, what they do, how they relate to each other. Mock content is fine, and you decide how much of it there is.

Directory sites usually look the same: a search bar and a grid of cards. Do something else. Use as little text as you can and let the visuals and the motion do the work, the way the best interactive landing pages do. It should still work as a directory: people can find a tool they need and send someone a link to it.

## Delivery contract

- This folder is an empty git repository with the brief (`BRIEF.md`). Build the product here. **The stack is your call** unless the brief names one: language, framework, libraries, styling, storage. You have internet access, web search included.
- Add a `run.json` file at the root that says how to run it, for example:

  ```json
  { "build": "npm run build", "start": "npm run preview -- --host 127.0.0.1 --port $PORT" }
  ```

  `build` is optional and runs once. `start` must serve the product on `http://127.0.0.1:$PORT` (we set the `PORT` environment variable) and keep running until we stop it.
- A person judges the result by using it in a browser.
- You are working alone: nobody will answer questions.
- Finish with a short summary of what you built.
